I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy to create a collaborative and individualized approach to counseling. I specialize in couples therapy and also work with individuals who are experiencing relationship challenges or want to better understand themselves within their relationships. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy, we explore underlying emotions, attachment needs, and patterns of interaction that can create distance or conflict. CBT helps us understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools for healthier communication and coping. Through Narrative Therapy, we explore the stories and beliefs that shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and your experiences, creating opportunities for new perspectives and change. Whether working individually or as a couple, my goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen connection, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I also offer therapy for farmers and individuals connected to agriculture, incorporating the land and familiar surroundings into the therapeutic process when appropriate. This approach recognizes the unique demands, relationships, stressors, and experiences that can come with farm and agricultural life.
